ITV bosses have shared a first look at the brand-new dating show hosted by Davina McCall. Previously the show was dubbed Love Island for "grown-ups" and given the working title of The Romance Retreat.
However, the broadcaster has now announced the fresh new format will be called My Mum, Your Dad and will follow a group of single parents who have been nominated by their grown-up kids for a second chance at love. The contestants from all over the UK, and from all walks of life, will live together at a stunning country house retreat with one objective — to find true love.
Described as a "dating show with a difference for the whole family," the new series will also come with a twist. ITV explained: "Unbeknownst to the parents, their kids will be watching their every move from a nearby location called 'The Bunker'. It is there in the surveillance room that they'll be able to witness all the action of their parents' journeys to find love, plus get the opportunity to play matchmaker and decide their mum or dad’s dating fate."
