The Love Island 2023 final is just one day away but there is plenty of drama left to come on the ITV2 dating show. On Sunday, March 12 the remaining Islanders will be joined by their family and friends while another couple is set to be booted off the show.
In a first look at tonight's instalment, the contestants are surprised as their parents, brothers, sisters, friends and loved ones enter the South African villa for a long overdue catch-up. In scenes set to air later on, Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins are the first to get a shock as Ron's dad Rodney and friend Harry arrive, joined by Lana's mum Rachel and friend Rebecca.
After a discussion. Lana's mum and Ron's dad share a hug as he says: "When you see them, you know it’s real, the way they look at each other you can just see."

Next to enter the Villa is Tanya Mahenga's mum Polite and her auntie Cynthia alongside Shaq Muhammad's sister Tahira and friend Levi. When both families meet, Tanya's auntie Cynthia says: "We've seen you guys from the start, we've seen you grow, we've seen you fall out, we've seen you pick up the pieces, we've seen you make up and to me, that's love."
Tom Clare and Samie Elishi are next to see their families as Samie's mum Wendy and sister Courtney head into the villa alongside Tom's mum Maxine and sister Laura. Next to visit the villa is Kai' Fagans mum Jill and step-dad Kenneth alongside Sanam Harrinanan's mum Gayatri and friend Imaan.
Coming all the way from Australia, the final set of relatives to visit the villa, are Jessie's mum Alice and sister Rachel along with Will's dad Andrew and brother Tom. Surprised her sister and mum have travelled so far, Jessie is emotional as she reunites with them.
Following the "meet the parents" segment the Islanders also receive a text message, which reads: "Can all Islanders please gather around the fire pit immediately.”
The three vulnerable couples at risk of being dumped from the Island are Kai and Sanam, Will and Jessie and Lana and Ron after their fellow Islanders voted them the least compatible during a twist on the final dates. You can read more on this here.
The Islanders then learn the public has been voting, as text messages inform them: "Islanders, you voted Jessie and Will, Sanam and Kai and Lana and Ron as the least compatible couples. They are all vulnerable and at risk of being dumped from the Island tonight, however, only one couple will go home and that decision is in the hands of the public." With Samie and Tom and Tanya and Shaq already safe and presumably through to the 2023 final, who will be joining them?
