Love Island final result: Tasha and Andrew vote 'mystery' as fans angered by fourth place finish

Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page are at the centre of a Love Island vote 'mystery' as fans were left angry that they only finished fourth in the final.

While the couple, who were put together by the public on day one, have certainly had a turbulent time in the villa, with a massive blip in the aftermath of Casa Amor, largely down to what Andrew had got up to with new girl Coco, they have been boyfriend and girlfriend for weeks now, with many viewers won round and convinced they're 'the real deal.'

Going into Monday's Love Island final, bookies had eventual winners Ekin-Su and Davide as red hot favourites, but Tasha and Andrew strengthened their position as second favourites. So it came as a massive surprise to them and many people watching at home when Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore called them in fourth place.

Gemma and Luca ended up finishing in second, while even rank outsiders with the bookies, Dami and Indiyah, leap-frogging Tasha and Andrew after the public vote to finish third.

The second Laura announced Tasha and Andrew had finished bottom out of the four remaining couples, Twitter was awash with complaints. One angry Tasha and Andrew fan fumed: "Luca and Gemma should have been in fourth place instead of Tasha and Andrew."

Another reacted: "Tasha and Andrew being fourth has honestly made me wanna never watch love island again," with a third tweeting: "I feel like we should all message Tasha and Andrew to tell them we wanted them second not fourth."

Even after credits rolled on Ekin-Su and Davide's victory, there was still outcry about Tasha and Andrew's position, with another unimpressed Love Island devotee commenting: "NO SPLIT OR STEAL? TASHA AND ANDREW FOURTH? If Ekin and Davide didn’t win i would have simply passed away"
