Love Island fans spot biggest clue Casa Amor is just around the corner

Love Island fans think Casa Amor is just around the corner. The challenge is arguably the ITV2 dating show's biggest twist and stirs up trouble between the couples every year without fail.

For those not up to speed, Casa Amor, which translates to Love House in Spanish, typically sees the introduction of a brand new line-up, with six new boys and six new girls joining the show with the aim of ruffling feathers and tempting the contestants away from their current relationships.

The new contestants, like the original Islanders, are separated into two villas. Usually, the girls remain in the original villa, where they are joined by six new boys, and the boys are sent to Casa Amor, where they will meet six new girls.

Each year dramatic scenes unfold as couples are tested and new love is found. After a few days, the Islanders must choose to stick with their current partner or choose to couple up with a new contestant, without knowing what their other half has decided.

And Love Island 2023 fans think this year's Casa Amor could be just around the corner after presenter Maya Jama confirmed she was flying to South Africa. The host shared her journey with her 2.6 million followers on Instagram and later shared updates when she landed.

It comes after Maya shared the news on Love Island's spin-off Aftersun. After receiving a text she explained to the audience and viewers at home: "Maya, pack your bags, you're departing for South Africa. Things are about to get spicy. #mayasmakingmoves #jamabringingdrama."

Many took to Twitter to speculate whether the announcement was the biggest hint yet that Casa Amor was returning. One fan wrote: "I'm guessing by Monday 6th February Casa Amor will start according to Maya Jama."

While another said: "So [Maya Jama] is flying to South Africa this week, I wonder if it’s for another shock re-coupling or Casa Amor is around the corner."

And a third commented: "If you saw Aftersun last night, you’ll know that at the end of the episode, Maya announced she is on her way back to the villa in South Africa!! Great News! But what do ya think this could be for? Surely it’s too early for Casa Amor?"

While Casa Amor could be around the corner, Maya's return could also be to do with the unexpected double dumping set to air on Friday, February 3.

A source told The Sun: "At first it was believed only one islander would be leaving but two went. The public vote is always hard as the islanders have no idea how they are being perceived in the outside world. It ended up being a long night and filming went on until the early hours." According to the insider, the dumping came as a "shock" to the cast. You can read more on this here.
