Love Island fans have been left concerned for Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu after her explosive row with Jay Younger saw the other boys in the villa gang up on her.
The Turkish actress was left blindsided when Jay said he wanted to get to know Paige Thorne, who is currently coupled up with Jacques O’Neill.
While she initially took the news well, on reflection back in the villa she pulled him for another chat and told him he “deserves an Oscar”.
When Ekin-Su stormed off to the kitchen and labelled Jay’s behaviour “muggy”, Jacques described her as a “headache” while Luca jokily welcomed Jay to “the doghouse”.
Several Love Island fans were left concerned by the scenes, as none of the girls in the villa leapt to Ekin-Su’s defence as the boys ganged up on her.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Ekin Su is getting bullied in that villa and nothing is being done.”
Another similarly called out the producers behind the ITV2 dating show for allowing the situation to continue, with one writing: “Jaques is so nasty to ekin su. They fully bully her why haven't the producers stepped in yet??”
Another wrote: “Anyone else feels like ekin su is blatantly being bullied? Like ya she went about things the wrong way with Jay but she risked a lot? And everyone was happy because she brought entertainment?”
“CAN ALL THESE MEN F***ING MOVE A PACK OF RABID DOGS COMING AT HER … and all the girls being silent observers,” another wrote.
Another tweeted: “So are we finally going to talk about how Jaques and Luca are nasty and bullies? Because the way they talk to Ekin is actually horrific…”
One chimed: “Jacques and Luca find every given opportunity to bully Ekin su and it’s not funny.”
“Ekin su is so clearly being bullied I’ve had enough with the boys,” another tweeted.
Another wrote: “The way everyone takes any opportunity in the villa to attack ekin is giving me bully vibes!” as a fellow fan said: “I really hate how the boys treat Ekin Su. It's just gross to me.”
This comes after Love Island has reportedly revealed when the Casa Amor stint of the ITV2 dating show is set to kick off.
The part of the show when the boys leave the main villa for a series of days and meet a whole new batch of girls, while a new troupe of boys move into the main villa, is a dramatic highpoint of the each series.
The Casa Amor segment of the show will reportedly hit screens from July 4, with chaos set to ensue in the villa and the male and female contestants lose all contact to test the strength of their relationships.
An ITV2 insider told The Sun: “Just when the Islanders start to get comfortable in their couples, they are going to get a real shock as they are torn apart.
“This year’s Casa Amor promises to be the most explosive yet thanks to some seriously fiery characters, who have already shown their heads can be turned.”
