After Love Island aired a clip of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti on Unseen Bits, fans of the ITV2 dating show were all left saying the same thing on Saturday evening.
Viewers were left in stitches after the couple were seen play-fighting on the sunbeds over a bottle of sun cream earlier in the week. It came after, in the latest episode of the show, the fan favourite pair were voted the least compatible couple by their fellow Love Islanders.
As reported by the Mirror, the couple received four votes for least compatible couple, ahead of a further viewer vote. That meant they are at risk from being dumped from the island ahead of the final.
However, many fans were left fuming after the Islanders all voted for the couple - who are strongly tipped to be winners of the series - as the least compatible.
Taking to Twitter to point to it as an obvious example of the couple’s chemistry, one fan wrote: “Currently wondering why everyone in the villa voted Ekin and Davide out/ least compatible… the sun cream ordeal was so cute and funny.”
A second wrote: “Watching unseen bits and the genuine laughter and connection between Ekin and Davide I know the other islanders voted strategically last night. Least compatible where!?”
“Still tryna see how everyone thought Ekin and Davide were the least compatible,” a third tweeted as a fourth said: “Ekin and Davide are so compatible it’s literally painful.”
Another demanded: “Least compatible WHERE???” as another tweeted: “BUT PEOPLE STILL THINK THEY’RE INCOMPATIBLE??????”
This comes after the race to find the winners of this year’s show got personal on Friday as the contestants separated into their couples to discuss the state of the other relationships.
It comes just days before the grand final on August 1 where one of the remaining five couples will be crowned the winners of Love Island 2022 and take home the £50,000 prize.
Ekin-Su and Davide are joined by Gemma Owen and Luca Bish, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, Indiyah Pollack and Dami Hope, and Paige Thorne and Adam Collard as the last couples standing, after nearly eight weeks of the ITV dating show.
Gemma and Luca received three votes, Paige and Adam received two and Tasha and Andrew received one, meaning they are also at risk of losing out.
Indiyah and Dami were the only couple to not receive votes, meaning they are safe and will participate in the final.
Earlier in the episode, the final epic dates continued with Tasha and Andrew, who dined on a beach within a Kardashian-inspired giant 3D heart made entirely of red roses.
Luca and Gemma also enjoyed their final date in a private courtyard where they were serenaded by a six-piece ensemble.
