Love Island fans are convinced they've worked out what secret Ron is hiding during a telling chat today.
Lana and Ron have had a rocky ride since joining the villa. The pair were coupled up from the start, but he seemed taken by one of the first female bombshells Zara as well as new girl Ellie and his head also risks turning for the latest bombshell Samie. However, he is determined to stay with Lana, but fans tuning into the ITV2 show have begged him to "stop talking" as they fear he is ending his own romance before his eyes.
During a chat with Lana as aired tonight, Ron assured her he was interested in her - but his comments left fans concerned.
Initially alone, Tanyel asked Ron if Kai fancied newbie Samie, as he replied: "Don’t start fishing off of me, all of the boys think she’s good looking and I’ve been the guinea pig of what not to do and what happens if you’re not open and transparent with who you’re with."
Lana later joined them and said how nice Samie was, before Ron added: "She’s a good looking girl and on the outside she is my type but I don't know the girl and I didn’t go for my type in the first place here, did I? I think I’ve learned from my mistake, depending on how she is, obviously on paper she’s my type but how many times has that ever worked?"
However, fans took issue with his comments and urged him to stop talking as he was ruining things for himself.
"Lana’s face while Ron is just bigging up the new girl, whilst Lana is sitting on his lap," one wrote, as another added: "Ron doesn’t like lana whatsoever like they get along okay but he’s so not into her and it’s so obvious #LoveIsland." [sic]
A third penned: "I'd say Ron needs to come clean with Lana but the way she was behaving last night I'm just gonna sit and watch the mess. #loveisland," with a fourth writing: "Ron doesn’t like Lana at all, sis must free herself or Ron will continue to make her fool."
The arrival of Samie has caused chaos in the villa, with all the guys expressing an interest in her. Kai admitted to her: "Just off initial vibes, you’re the sort of girl that I’d go for," before Sami suggested: "So you’d be a fool to not chat me up..."
"Yeah and obviously Tanyel might not like it, me and Tanyel have been good but now you’re in here I want to get to know you," Kai then added to her - but will sparks fly between the pair?
