Love Island fans and contestants were left reeling after the events of the first recoupling of the series on Friday night. With islander Tanyel coupling up with Ron, Lana was left to pick from one of the boys left standing, deciding to save farmer Will from a dumping.
In last night’s episode we saw the islanders head to bed for the first night in their new couples, meaning Lana would spend her first night not in a bed with Ron. And fans of the show were left unimpressed with how Tanyel handled the situation and praised Lana for keeping her cool/
Supporters of the make-up artist from London have taken to social media to show their love and support. Many commended her ability to not lose her cool with Tanyel and instead be understanding and just asking for “transparency” from her.

One such supporter @elliehoward735 said: “Tanyel flirting like that in-front of Lana. She’s a better person than me, hands would be flying”, while @x_erin said “Lana is so much better than me because I would’ve been so mad at Tanyel #loveisland.”
Some fans of the show think that Tanyel has made it pretty clear that she does not care who she hurts. On Twitter one user said: “Tanyel and Ron giggling with Lana across the room? Lana understand she is not your friend pls.”
People aren’t just questioning if Tanyel is Lana’s friend, they're also questioning if Ron is going to keep his head straight for Lana. Each time a new girl comes in, or someone mentions they have some slight feelings for him his head starts to swivel.
Viewers can catch the next episode of the show tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
