Love Island fans make plea to bosses after 'worrying' observation about villa

Love Island 2023 's contestants were battling strong winds in the villa during Tuesday night's episode - and it didn't go unnoticed by viewers.

In fact many fans of the ITV2 series made a plea to producers, after noticing many of the cast were shivering during filming.

As the girls were talking outside with new bombshell Tom Clare, some of them looked really cold and as though they were trying to stop themselves from shivering.

While during the day it looks pretty warm and sunny in South Africa where the winter series is filmed, the temperature seems to drop at night.

Amid reports that the villa is battling 50mph winds right now, it was fairly obvious to viewers that the glammed up Islanders were feeling the cold.

As they donned their stunning outfits and made themselves up for the evening, viewers begged bosses to get the girls to wear a coat or a blanket to cover up.

Noticing the difference, given it's normally warmer during the summer series, fans took to Twitter over their observations.

One viewer said: "The way they really have them sitting freezing in this hurricane."

A second viewer tweeted: "Am I the only one worried about how cold it could be in the love island villa, just let them wear a coat or something."

Another fan wrote: "They are all cold, please give them blankets!" as a fourth said: "Someone get those girls coats I just know they’re trying so hard not to shiver."

This year's girls are Tanya Manhenga, Lana Jenkins, Anna-May Robey, Tanyel Revan and Olivia Hawkins.

As for the boys, Kai Fagan, Ron Hall, Will Young, Shaq Muhammad and Haris Namani have entered the villa.

Meanwhile, bombshell Tom immediately sparked drama on Tuesday night, leaving one Islander fuming and being told to "chill".

Haris Namani called out the newcomer in front of the rest of the boys, as Tom immediately made a play for the women.

The bombshell learned he would have a big decision to make, as he would be tasked with picking one of the already taken girls - leaving one man single and at risk of being dumped.

Tom's arrival, as voted for by the public, left the boys worried as they realised they could lose their girl.

So when Tom immediately caused drama after his debut, as he decided to speak to the girls before getting to know the boys, one Islander fumed.

Haris was told to "chill" as he got irritated about it before slamming Tom, while he quickly tried to downplay it as a joke.

He told the other boys: "Mate he's having a chat with them birds boys, I'm telling you all them girls."

Ron, stunned by his annoyance, said back: "Mate, don't worry about it. Chill. Don't worry about it, it's fine."

Haris then hit out at Tom, saying: "Nah he should... I'm not worried mate, he should be introducing himself to us init."

As the camera panned over to Tom and the girls at the firepit, he asked them: "What are the lads like?"

Tanyel then quipped: "They probably liked you until you turned around and said you'd speak to the girls first..."

Haris soon shouted out at him: "Tom! You've got 30 seconds, Tom. If you don't come over here mate."

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
