Fans of Love Island threatened to switch off tonight's show on ITV after forgetting Saturdays are for Unseen Bits. Viewers took to Twitter to share their annoyance at missing out on their usual 9pm gossip and drama session, saying clips are "unseen for a reason".
Following another dramatic week in the South African villa, which saw Zara and Olivia come to blows (again), two Australian Love Island veterans enter the villa, and more contestants leave, viewers were left annoyed by the "terrible" behind-the-scenes weekly round up. After getting cosy with snacks in hand, viewers turned to ITV only to realise in despair that their usual drama-filled show was replaced with the unseen bits.
Yesterday, it was revealed Shaq and Tanya became the first couple to visit the island's Hideaway after receiving a unanimous vote from the other contestants. Reporting back the following day, Tanya explained they got "down and dirty" and "everything" happened.

There were no such juicy revelations on tonight's show, but a new country was created - Colombria - and viewers were treated to a conversation about whether oat milk is truly milk. Fans were somewhat disappointed, with one viewer tweeting: "Was [actually] excited for Loveisland tonight but I forgot it’s unseen bits… they’re unseen for a reason… annoying."
Another said "this unseen bits is terrible", while someone else said "they really wasted a whole 10 minutes on conversations of the most boring people in the villa again I can’t".
One viewer said: "Wish we could have an actual episode on Saturdays rather than unseen bits, I need to see what unfolds after that truth or dare".
"These unseen bits are so bland - like why am I sat here with a straight face", one angry fan added. Someone else said: "this is possibly the most boring unseen bits in the history of LI. Please get Will on my screen…"
Another viewer said: "Lana and Ron need to give it up, cause that Oat Milk talk I just saw on Unseen Bits was painful to watch."
