Love Island fans in stitches as they joke Casa Amor is 'real reason' Sunak and Javid quit

Love Island fans are all making the same joke after Chancellor Rishi Sunak and Health Secretary Sajid Javid resigned from Government.

The Tory heavyweights quit last night within minutes of each other, with both questioning Boris Johnson 's integrity in their resignation letters.

But Love Island fans claim they have worked out the "real reason" behind their shock departures.

As soon as the news broke, people flocked to Twitter, pointing out the pair had coincidentally left the same week as the return of Casa Amor.

And many suggested the senior chancellors are entering the villa as 'bombshells', with some going so far as to photoshop their faces onto previous islanders.

One viral tweet joked: "BREAKING: New bombshells revealed to be entering Casa Amor tonight," before sharing the hilarious snaps.

Another read: " @RishiSunak @sajidjavid we all know the real reason you resigned lads #LoveIsland."

"Can’t believe Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javed have resigned to enter the Love Island Villa," said a third.

One person even scripted Sunak's entry speech, writing: "NEW LOVE ISLAND BOMBSHELL. 'Dishy Rishi’ enters the Villa having gone from Treasury to looking for someone to Treasure.

"Despite his history in the Exchequer, he’s not checking for his ex. Rishi is looking to go from raising revenue to raising eyebrows."

Another fan joked: "I don't understand did Rishi and Sajid not want to couple up? Why are they being kicked out the house #LoveIsland."
