Love Island viewers were not happy with the show on Wednesday night, after hours of it being advertised that the latest episode would be Movie Night - only for this not to be the case.
The much anticipated moment sees clips from past episodes shown to the Islanders for the first time.
Often with this, secret antics and comments are exposed, with Islanders learning of their partners' betrayals.
It had been confirmed on Tuesday night that the next episode, to air on Wednesday, would be Movie Night.
Then, all of Wednesday there was a build-up to the popular moment, with Love Island's social media accounts teasing the big scenes ahead.
But despite all the build-up, Movie Night only lasted 10 minutes before being cut off, with the rest to air on Thursday night instead.
It was sold as being "the sequel" in the tomorrow night teaser, but fans were not happy given they had been told it would air on Wednesday, not Thursday.
Not only that, but the fact there was no mention until towards the end of the episode that Movie Night wasn't actually airing until later on left fans accusing the show of "lying".
Viewers were forced to sit through over 40 minutes of "boring" content, as Olivia's drama with Kai continued.
Fans hit out at the show for "forcing" Olivia on them, suggesting they were "tricked" into watching the episode having believed it would be Movie Night.
So when this didn't begin until 50 minutes later, fans took to Twitter to call the show out - with many suggesting the show had an agenda.
One viewer said: "How are they gonna advertise movie night and only give us 10 minutes worth."
Another fan tweeted: "another 5 min advert wasting time off of precious movie night, you are a liar love island."
A third viewer said: "you guys are liars, you’re insincere - making movie night seem like the main event."
The comments kept on coming too, with another saying: "love island you are a liar you are an actress bc where is movie night???"
Another said: "Sat through the longest boring Olivia date for 2 FLIPPIN MOVIE CLIPS! #FUMING," as a sixth fan wrote: "THERE IS NO WAY ON EARTH I WATCHED BASICALLY AN HOUR OF OLIVIA MOANING ABOUT KAI POINTLESSLY BUT ONLY GOT 5 MINS OF MOVIE NIGHT?!! Nah I’m fuming I could’ve gone to bed and caught up tomorrow."
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
