Love Island fans figure out Gemma's game plan as Paige confides in her about Jacques

Love Island viewers think that Gemma Owen has got a game plan when it comes to her ex Jacques and his new love interest Paige.

During Sunday's episode of the ITV2 reality show, Paige was seen confiding in Gemma and Indiyah about Jacques and Jay.

Paige is now in a couple with Jay, after he chose to pair up with her during Friday's episode, but she's still very much interested in Jacques.

During their chat, Gemma appeared to be advising Paige to remain open and get to know Jay by having chats with him.

Viewers immediately accused Gemma of having an ulterior motive and took to Twitter to comment.

"Gemma telling paige to entertain jay so she can get her ex back #LoveIsland," one person claimed.

Another tweeted: "GEMMA STILL LIKES JACQUES AHE TRYNA BREAK HIM & PAIGE UP #LoveIsland."

A third person posted: "Gemma is only telling Paige that cause she has unfinished business with Jacques. Watch #loveisland."

Someone else said: "Gemma do you still want Jacques wood or not bout 21 questions #LoveIsland."

Another viewer suggested there was more to it and tweeted: "Gemma knows something about Jacques #LoveIsland."

But someone else suspected that Gemma could be warning Paige off Jacques because she knows him due to their history.

"Did Paige forget Jacques and Gemma dated? Girl has the scoop and is trying to guide her! #LoveIsland," they tweeted.

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
