Tonight's Love Island saw more contestants ripped apart from their pals and loved ones in another savage dumping. Couples Deji and Lacey and Nathalia and Reece were sent packing from the villa in a shock twist on Sunday night (July 24).
After taking part in a fun-filled sports day challenge, the contestants were quickly brought back to reality when they were asked to gather around the firepit as the sun sets. In Friday night’s show, the British public were given the chance to vote for who they believe is the most compatible couple, leaving the Islanders with the fewest votes at risk of being sent home immediately.
Newcomers Nathalia and Reece were forced to form the only friendship couple after failing to connect with any of the OG stars, but despite having only entered the villa last week, have already left. Newly formed couple Deji and Lacey, who had been getting close to each other since last week, are also heading home after being dumped.

Fans were divided in their opinions and took to social media to share their thoughts after the double dumping. @sophieshxlling1 tweeted: "actually feel so sorry for Lacey, Nathalia and Reece, they barely got a chance."
@violetsworld6 wrote: "This is defo not how Nathalia expected her Love Island experience to go." and @datadyne007 said "Thank God for this double elimination. Time to get on course for the finale."
@gabidefrancaa said: "well nathalia reece and lacey didn't last very long" and @Mjs_utv tweeted: "I feel like if Lacey and Deji were in the villa from the beginning they would’ve been strong contenders to win it."
Sunday evening’s episode of the hit ITV2 dating show saw the islanders taken aback when Adam Collard received a text asking them to gather around the firepit immediately. Gemma Owen then receives a text, which reads: “Islanders, the public have been voting for their most compatible couple. The couples with the fewest votes risk being dumped from the island tonight.”
