Usain Bolt ‘s name may be synonymous with gold medals, speed and success but the Jamaican sprinter finds himself in hot water this evening after bombshell claims made on Love Island.
As the stars of the ITV2 dating show sat around the fire pit to play a game of ‘Never Have I Ever’ this evening, Bolt found his name dropped in the most unlikely of places.
Bombshell Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown, 25, dropped the athlete’s name into the game when she asked her fellow Islanders to drink if they’d been with any famous faces.
The model and property developer, who said she’d modelled and danced in music videos for Hardy Caprio, Headie One, Aitch, Tione Wayne “and more” before entering the villa, quizzed her fellow islanders.
Zara pressed: “Never have I ever got with or dated a celebrity.”
The camera panned to Olivia and Lana as they drank from their gold champagne flutes before Zara was seen drinking to her own question.
Olivia divulged: “I dated somebody in the athletic field.”
Lana then confessed: “My most recent ex-boyfriend is a actor.” [sic] She later told Ron she previously dated I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! runner up Owen Warner.
Zara then took her turn to dish the dirt to the group.
“I got with an athlete before, a famous athlete, very famous.”
Olivia asked: “Anyone want to say names?”
“I’ve kissed Usain Bolt,” Zara quickly confessed.
As the group reacted with “Oooh” and “Wow,” Ron quipped: “Did he finish quick?”
Tanya then told: “Mine was a footballer and the other one was a rapper which was Not3s.”
“You went from Not3s to Shaq,” one of the boys dug as they rolled around laughing.
But Love Island fans couldn’t get over Zara’s claim to have smooched world-famous athlete Bolt.
The 36-year-old father-of-three has been with his long-term partner Kasi Bennett for nearly eight years.
They welcomed twins Thunder and Saint Leo in 2021 after the birth of their daughter Olympia the year before.
Some took to Twitter to demand proof of the alleged hanky-panky between Zara and Usain after her sensational claim.
“Usain Bolt has been with his partner since 2014...Zara is 25. So we're saying she was 16 and he was 27?” tweeted one confused fan, alongside a meme of a woman saying: “The lies! The lies!”
“No cause if Usain Bolt has been with kasi for 8 years than either Zara is lying or Mr Bolt has some explaining to do,” another viewer pointed out.
“Zara lies unprovoked. Usain Bolt has been in a relationship for 7 years & has 3 children,” one fan dismissed. [sic]
Despite viewers dismay, it’s not the first time Usain has found himself at the centre of an alleged cheating scandal.
Back in 2016, photos emerged that appeared to show the Olympic hero in bed with a student and kissing another woman.
Brazilian student Jady Duarte shared snaps which appear to show her kissing and cuddling the sprinting sensation after his 30th birthday bash in Rio.
And further photos of Usain apparently kissing and dancing with another girl in a Rio nightclub also surfaced.
At the time his girlfriend Kasi quietly reacted to his alleged night of passion with the Brazilian student, and reports of near-constant wild nights out with a bevy of beauties since finishing the Olympics.
She remained silent on claims her man has cheated following his victory at the Games at the time but did throw serious shade by liking a series of cutting comments from fans, and memes online hitting out at the star.
