A number of Love Island viewers have hit out at the ITV2 show following the most recent episode, claiming that it's 'rigged' after Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda were dumped from the villa.
As the islanders were enjoying a beach day outside of the villa, the fun came to an end as soon as host Maya Jama turned up to reveal that not one, but two couples would be leaving the show on Wednesday night.
After the public vote, it was Olivia and Maxwell who proved to be the least popular pair with viewers at home.
However, after they were told that they were being given the boot, there was another twist, as Maya informed Olivia and her beau Maxwell that it was up to them who else should leave the villa.
Following the epic cliffhanger episode on Wednesday night, some viewers flocked to Twitter to complain that Love Island is 'rigged' after spotting a tell-tale clue during the latest explosive instalment.
Many eagle-eyed viewers were quick to expose Olivia's bizarre reaction after being told that she was dumped from the show.
In a rather odd turn of events, the brunette beauty was seen covering her face with her hand before smirking when Maya delivered the bombshell news that she and Maxwell would be deciding which other islanders should get the boot.
Viewers were left pondering why it was that Olivia didn't look at all surprised that she had to pick two Islanders to send home - with some claiming that the show is rigged.
"I don’t care it’s still rigged because how is Olivia having the power to do this she’s loving it. Why would they allow her to choose? It doesn't make sense," one viewer complained.
"Okay, the whole show has to be rigged. Olivia wasn’t surprised she has to pick," another echoed.
"I'm so glad Olivia is going home but why was she smirking and covering her face before Maya told her that she gets to pick who else goes home!!!! What was going on there," someone else pointed out.
While another Love Island viewer tweeted: "Olivia didn't look surprised when Maya dropped that twist, looks fake to me."
Olivia and Maxwell will have to pick one girl and one boy from the three remaining vulnerable couples, therefore, leaving Tanya, Shaq, Claudia, Keanan, Casey and Rosie all at risk.
The Mirror has reached out to a Love Island spokesperson for comment.
