Love Island runner-up Ron Hall made a comment during the grand final which has rattled viewers who think they've figured out his future.
On Monday night, Ron and Lana Jenkins came in second place, narrowly missing out on £50,000 after Kai and Sanam were crowned the winners of the ITV2 dating programme.
But despite missing out on the top spot, the couple have made no secret of the fact that they love one another and became the first Villa couple to become "official" boyfriend and girlfriend.
However, during a chat with host Maya Jama, Ron said something which has left viewers at home certain that the pair won't go the distance and stay together.
Ron explained to Maya that after walking away from the villa, he wants to be able to "miss" Lana and not see her for a couple of days.
Shortly after his comment, fans flocked to social media to share their thoughts with one writing: "'Ron is against moving for Lana and wants time to miss her, she’s getting ghosted unless they win #loveisland."
"Ron saying he needs his time away from Lana after the show is such a red flag #LoveIsland," commented a second.
Before a third shocked viewer penned: "Ron and Lana’s relationship is actually mad cause he really started grafting her when she picked Casey. That's a red flag #LoveIsland."
"Ron and Lana won't last a month outside, he's a walking red flag. #loveisland," typed another.
Despite being madly in love, Ron revealed to Jama that he wouldn't consider relocating up north for Lana but insisted they would have their own individual bases for the early stages of their relationship.
Following the grand conclusion of Winter Love Island, Richard Arnold offered an insight into the final during Tuesday's edition of Good Morning Britain.
But Ed Balls believes the show should only air in the summer after ratings during series nine plummeted – despite the dramatic return of Casa Amor.
The series opened to just 1.4 million viewers watching live, drastically falling behind the summer 2022 premiere, which secured 2.4 million viewers.
Meanwhile, viewership was again low for the beloved series staple Casa Amor, when figures showed the typically explosive Casa Amor re-coupling ceremony attracted 1.3 million, a far cry from the 3 million watching during last summer.
Elsewhere in the final, Tom Clare, 23, and Samie Elishi, 22, placed third in the competition, while airport security officer Shaq Muhammad, 24, and Tanya Manhenga, 22 were in fourth.
