Love Island fans baffled as love rat Adam becomes 'most reasonable' boy in villa

Love Island fans couldn't believe their eyes when loverat Adam Collard became the 'most reasonable' boy in the villa.

The fitness coach had a reputation when he was first introduced on the show in 2018.

His antics in the villa resulted in Women's Aid accusing him of displaying clear signs of 'gaslighting and emotional abuse' during his stint.

After his shock return to the villa this year, fans were worried but it turns out it's the other boys that were up to no good.

With Dami and Luca turning into public enemy number one due to their treatment of Tasha and antics throughout the season as well as Billy's treatment of Danica, Adam has become a quick favourite.

He has coupled up with Paige and has been focused on getting to know her all while keeping things low-key.

Fans were gobsmacked about the turn of events and took to social media to share their surprise.

"Not Adam being a reformed islander? The menace has become the mediator," one user shared on Twitter.

Another asked: “'Why is Adam collard the only reasonable guy in the villa this year?”

“How are the men in this villa so trash that ADAM COLLARD of Women’s Aid statement fame is the best man in there right now,” one exclaimed.

A viewer posted: "how the f**k is adam fucking collard the voice of reason. the boys this season are truly lost"

"why is adam f**king collard being the most sensible and straightforward," another said.

It comes as Women's Aid onfirmed that they are talking with Love Island as they addressed the intense backlash over misogynistic and "controlling" behaviour by some of the male Islanders.

Responding to the backlash, Women's Aid confirmed to Metro that they were in discussions with Love Island.

They said: "At Women’s Aid we are being tagged into a stream of Twitter posts, with viewers of Love Island highlighting the misogyny and controlling behaviour being shown on screen.

"This is clearly more than talking about any individual contestants, and a programme based around the formation of romantic relationships must have guidelines on what behaviour is acceptable and unacceptable in those relationships.

"We are talking to ITV, and they have shared with us information on their inclusion training, but what appears to be missing is specific information on abusive relationships and an understanding of controlling behaviour in relationships."
