Love Island fans have been left baffled as they complained Islanders look like 'different people' in their Instagram profiles.
The official pictures of the contestants set to star in the ITV2 dating show have been released, but some fans are puzzled over the huge differences in those snaps compared to the ones shared on the Islanders’ social media accounts.
Since the official snaps were released, fans have flocked to social media to claim that the Islanders have been "done dirty"
French model Medhi Edno, 26, shared sultry photos of him posing on the beach, showcasing his chiselled jaw and brunette locks, but his followers were stunned to see his transformation in the official snaps.
In the pictures, his long hair has been cut short, and the sharp features and dreamy eyes are nowhere to be seen as he posed in front of an unflattering blue backdrop.
“Why you gotta do him dirty with this pic,” one complained, as another agreed: “Checking his profile… why doesn’t he look like himself in that photo?!”
“Love Island photographers try not to murder the lads but make the girls look unreal challenge,” one fan commented.
“This photo doesn’t do him justice,” another wrote.
George Fensom was also seemingly sabotaged by the Love Island photographer, with one fan complaining: “Camera man doing him dirty,” while another wrote: “After going through his profile, this pic doesn’t do him justice…”
Graduate Andre Furtado said he was going to “bring good looks” to the Love Island villa ahead of his debut on the dating show, but his official pictures have left fans disappointed.
“The photographer kinda ate this season,” one quipped, as another added: “Please take better photos of all Islanders!”
“Please ABEG fire the photographer. this man is divine what is this pic of him,” one pleaded.
Fans were also furious when Jess Harding was revealed on the official Love Island Instagram account, with one fuming: “I’m gonna give all of them a chance bc I know how bad your photographer’s skills are.”
Love Island returns to ITV2 at 9pm on Monday
