Bristol's Maya Jama has been lauded by Love Island fans over her part in tonight's (February 16) recoupling ceremony. It was an explosive evening on the ITV2 show as the villa residents returned to the firepit to make a big decision.
The islanders all returned to the main villa in order to face the long-awaited Casa Amor recoupling. Love Island fans across the country were on the edge of their seats as this years contestants faced host Maya in order to make their final choice.
And it was not smooth sailing for the islanders, as the episode saw smiles, tears and arguments. But on top of this, many viewers suggested Maya contributed to the shows 'best' Casa Amor recoupling.

The presenter wore a stunning red dress as she steered the contestants through the process, asking them uncomfortable questions along the way. One-by-one, Maya asked the islanders whether they would like to stick or recouple, as well as if they remained loyal to their partner.
And, it appeared it was these arguably awkward questions which stirred emotion as some islanders went on to admit kissing other islanders, in front of their partner. Love Island viewers have praised Maya for her incredible work on the show.
One Twitter user wrote: "Maya Jama is exactly what love island needed she is bringing potentially the best Casa Amor recoupling we’ve ever seen."
Another said: "This is why I love Maya Jama as the host!! She asks the right questions!"
A third wrote: "Maya Jama is the best thing that’s happened to this show."
