Love Island fans accuse producers of telling Samie to organise breakfast for Lana in 'fake' scenes

Love Island fans have once again accused producers of staging the show after a "fake" breakfast scene during tonight's show (March 6). Makeup artist Lana Jenkins was tearful in the first half of the episode after her partner Ron Hall revealed his "game plan", with fans noticing that the remaining islanders appear to have "turned on each other" as the ninth series draws to a close.

As Ron was confronted about his "game plan" and was forced to explain himself, Lana appeared to be the only islander who really supported him. But Lana became tearful whilst talking to her fellow girls, claiming that they never stood up for her.

To make things up to a disheartened Lana, Samie Elishi decided, with the help of the other girls, to throw together a breakfast for her. Hoping to brighten her mood, the girls gathered outside and then called Lana over, who ended up crying with gratitude for the kind gesture.

Whilst Lana appeared to be delighted with what the girls had pulled together for her in her moment of loneliness, some viewers were not convinced that the gesture was genuine. A number of fans have accused the producers of the ITV2 reality show of telling Samie to organise the breakfast.

Jennifer Phelan wrote on Twitter: "The producers deffo told Samie to suggest the breakfast idea. Never seen anything more false."

The accusations of the breakfast scene being "fake" comes just a day after Maya Jama silenced former Love Island star Olivia Hawkins on Aftersun last night (March 5). Olivia claimed that clips from Movie Night were edited, as Maya shushed her to stop her talking.
