Love Island dumping news rocks villa as announcement leaves couples at risk

The Love Island contestants will be left reeling in tonight's episode of the ITV2 series, as an announcement rocks the villa.

Islanders will be given no warning that a dumping could be about to take place, as the public have been voting for their favourite couples.

Those with the fewest votes will be at risk of being dumped from the villa.

It's not yet confirmed if a dumping will definitely air or how many people will be axed, but if there is an exit or two it will likely air on Monday.

Whether the public or the Islanders themselves will have to decide who goes also remains to be seen.

The Islanders are enjoying their evening amid recent drama, only for Ekin-Su to get an alarming text message with big news.

She tells the group: "Can all Islanders gather around the firepit immediately."

The Islanders are then told that the public have been voting for their favourite couple, and those Islanders with the fewest votes will be at risk of being dumped from the Island.

It seems the safe couples will learn their fates, possibly leaving those at risk awaiting their own.

Viewers will have to tune in on Sunday night to find out what goes down, and if anyone will be leaving the villa.

It follows Thursday’s brutal Casa Amor recoupling, that left four couples in tatters and six Islanders axed - while it seems the couples could all change again.

Initially only three couples were torn apart, but later revelations caused heartbreak for another pair - and threatened to destroy a fifth couple too.

First up was Jay Younger, who was paired up with Danica Taylor but as a friendship - so he decided to bring new girl Chyna Mills into the villa - while he's now ditched her.

As Danica returned she too had recoupled, and brought new boy Josh Samuel Le Grove with her - but Sunday sees them both unsure about their pairing.

The recouplings didn't stop there though, with Dami Hope choosing new girl Summer Botwe over Indiyah Polack.

But Indiyah didn't return alone, as she was joined by Casa Amor bombshell Deji Adeniyi.

Another split saw Andrew Le Page decide to go with new girl Coco Lodge, and his words left some of his co-stars very unimpressed.

Tasha Ghouri returned to see Andrew had recoupled, but so had she as she brought in new boy Billy Brown.

One couple who stuck together but are set for huge drama are Jacques O'Neill and Paige Thorne - following his antics with Cheyanne Kerr.

She outed his antics with her, leaving Paige distraught, and it’s not clear if they can come back from the scandal.

Two others couples did survive Casa Amor, as Luca Bish and Gemma Owen stayed loyal to each other.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti also stuck together, but they could have moments from Casa Amor that might return to haunt them.

New girl Mollie Salmon outed Davide for kissing her, and Ekin-Su was outraged - but they seemed to get back on track.

Meanwhile, Jack, George, Samuel, Jazmine, Mollie and Cheyanne were all dumped then and there on the spot.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
