Love Island dump girl from villa after bombshell arrival - and they've already left

Love Island have dumped a girl from the show - and they've already left the villa.

There have been some tense moments on the ITV2 show as of late, with the boys looking very happy to see bombshell Claudia Fogarty arrive in the villa just in time for the heartrate challenge. Following her arrival, it has now been reported that one girl has already been dumped from the villa and is making their way home.

At the moment, there are two solid couples - Tanya and Shaq and Will and Jessie. The other girls and guys seem less certain in their pairings, especially Casey after Lana decided to get back with Ron.

The decision that's been made has been met with "sadness" in the villa.

A source told The Sun: "The girls knew Claudia’s arrival could only mean bad news for one of them, as more girls means more competition. The new bombshell had barely had time to unpack before one of them got the boot.

"There was a recoupling and the girl not chosen had to leave the villa. A few more of them are in settled couplings now, but Ellie, Tanyel, Samie and Olivia's situations are less certain. Everyone was sad to see this girl go."

It is believed viewers will get to see the recoupling begin tonight, after Tom receives a surprise text.

Claudia set the boys' hearts racing when she stepped into the villa during last night's show, and hopes Love Island is going to help her find the one after being single for eight months and convinced now is the time to settle down.

Asked why she signed up for the show, she said: "It’s come at the perfect time in my life. I’m 28, I’m not getting any younger and I’ve been single for 8 months, so I feel ready to settle and find 'the one'.

"I’m done with the ‘bad boys’, I just want to find my person and now is the right time. I'll bring my northern charm with some humour, bubbliness and sass. My northern banter is going to be coming in with me. I think I’ll spice things up a bit, I’m a confident person, I can be fiery when I want to be, but I’m a girls’ girl so I know I will get on well with all of them all."

Claudia is also hopeful she can follow her father Carl Fogarty's winning streak, but insists her focus is on finding love.
