Love Island couple cruelly dumped tonight just one day before final

A Love Island couple will be brutally dumped tonight - just one day before the 2022 final.

Two Islanders will cruelly miss out on being part of the big day after each of the couples were tasked with voting for the two least compatible pairs.

Fan favourites Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti received the most amount of votes after every other couple voted for them. Luca Bish and Gemma Owen, Paige Thorne and Adam Collard and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page also received votes, meaning all of them are also in danger of being dumped.

Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack have received an automatic place in the final after none of the other couples voted them least compatible.

However, who leaves tonight is out of the Islanders' hands as the public have been voting to save their favourites.

The pair with the fewest votes will be dumped tonight.

It comes after each of the couples enjoyed their romantic final dates, with Ekin and Davide finally saying 'ti amo' to one another.

The couple were treated to a serenade from Alfie Boe as they enjoyed an incredible candlelit date in a colosseum-style setting.

“I feel like I’m in a dream,” she told Davide, who toasted to themselves and said: “To our beautiful experience and hopefully we will last forever - it will last forever.”

Ekin-Su added: "This is probably the most romantic date I’ve ever been on in my life. I just can’t get over this. It’s everything I’ve always wanted."

Among the other epic dates included Adam and Paige chilling together on a lavish yacht, Dami and Indiyah dancing the day away in a fiesta, Gemma and Luca serenaded by a six-piece ensemble and T asha and Andrew's Kardashian-style dinner.

*Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
