Love Island has aired a huge recoupling tonight - causing chaos in the ITV2 villa.
Multiple couples had not been really seeing eye to eye, or wanting to crack on with someone else. As the ITV2 show called for a daytime recoupling, it meant that multiple Islanders had the chance to change who they were partnered with.
We know Zach is keen on Molly, but she is partnered with Mitchel, who did so to keep her in the show when Zach was picked by someone else, whilst Sammy is also questioning how he feels about both Jess - who is keen on him - and also Leah.
During tonight's recoupling, it was down to the boys to choose who they wanted to be with.
Unsurprisingly, Tyrique picked Ella, whilst Catherine was picked by new guy Scott. Jess seemed overjoyed to be picked by Sammy, despite his keenness on Leah. However, she was chosen by Mitchel, meaning Molly and Zach - who have been growing closer and closer - could finally couple up. Medhi chose Whitney, leaving five new couples.
Fans were surprised by the scenes, confused why bombshell Scott picked last.
"Why is Scott last? I've never seen a new person not get first pick #loveisland," one shared, as another added: "They've not let the bombshell pick first, what are these producers cooking up #LoveIsland."
A third shared: "Okay but what was the point of that recoupling when Scott picked last? #loveIsland."
Earlier in the show, things seemed to be heating up between Whitney and Medhi when she asked him to put suncream on her back.
Taking the chance to massage her, Whitney joked to him: "It’s the first time I’ve seen you quiet!"
However, things seen less sure for Ella and Tyrique after she took a liking to Scott, or at least he seems keen on her. As Sammy, Jess, Mitch and Ella joined Tyrique for an "honest hour" chat, he tells her what he thinks of her and Scott.
"I think you’re chatting to Scott to wind me up and it’s tit for tat, but it’s fair enough, he said.
Following Andre and Charlotte's exit, Catherine admitted she was devastated by him leaving.
"He's just gone… Like within the blink of an eye. I never thought it would be André going. It’s just hard. It’s abruptly ended," she said, whilst Andre added of his own exit: "It doesn’t feel best to be dumped from the Villa tonight, however I’ve enjoyed the experience. Something I never thought I’d do and yeah, man, it’s been amazing."
Zach was saved from being dumped - and was glad he could get to know Molly more.
He said: "Got to make sure the time we have is used properly. This is my biggest eye opener to it. I was honestly just thinking about you. There’s something so different about you, Molly," as she agreed: "There’s literally no time to waste."
