Who’s in the Love Island Australia 2024 cast?

Eilisha, 25 — Queensland

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

If this is going to be Love Island Australia‘s spiciest season, we’ve got to have some heated, feisty girlies on the OG roster, right?

Eilisha, a support worker hailing all the way from Queensland, is here to bring the heat and tell it how it is in the villa. Although she’s described as “fiery” and the “loudest in the group”, she admits to being a big softie at heart.

When asked about what she’s looking for in the villa, Eilisha said she needed a man who “matches [her] level”.

“Someone who is interesting and funny, someone who can make me laugh. I can make people laugh, but I want someone to make me laugh too. If I really like someone’s personality I will go for that, but they can’t be skinny and they have to have muscles. I want to be treated like a princess,” she shared.

Xanthe, 21 — New South Wales

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

This property stylist is on the hunt for a tall and confident man (same) who isn’t shy or afraid to say what they want (also same).

Xanthe is a Sydneysider who comes from a large family. Her mother has a Chinese Australian background while her father is Lebanese Australian.

The cute AF stylist admits she’s “excited but nervous” to step into the villa but is determined to find her confident and athletic man.

While reflecting on her prior relationship, Xanthe admitted that she was “mentally checked out” before they broke up — which happened last December.

“He was a lot older than me, and that’s why it didn’t work out. I didn’t really know who I was at 18, and as I got a bit older I knew we weren’t compatible,” she shared.

Mimi, 25 — New South Wales

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Mimi is originally from New Zealand, but before she planted roots in Sydney, she moved to London. Alongside being the co-owner of Aussie streetwear brand EFFN, the 25-year-old is also a former professional dancer who trained at Sydney’s Brent Street Studio.

Although she doesn’t dance for a living, she’s taken her passion to TikTok, gaining more than 215K followers on the platform.

Mimi shared that she after a book with “bad-boy looks and a golden retriever personality”. Let’s hope the villa delivers.

Em, 26 — New South Wales

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Em is taking on the Love Island villa with hopes of finding an emotional connection rather than a physical one.

The model — who’s also a black belt in karate — says she’s “a little sceptical” when it comes to finding love because she’s “dated the most random people ever”. SAME, GIRL, SAME.

When asked about her Love Island game plan, Em emphasised her need for an emotional connection.

“I think I will definitely get to know everyone. I feel like I struggle with initial attraction, so that’s why that emotional connection is important. I think for me a physical connection comes after an emotional connection,” she shared.

Hannah, 24 — Victoria

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Ever since Hannah reached the age of 18, she has made it a mission to get into the villa. Now, that dream has finally come true!

“I’ve loved the show for years. I applied last year and got knocked back, so I thought it wasn’t meant to be. Then this year I made it, pictured life in the villa, and here I am,” she admitted.

The student nurse, who works part-time as a lash technician, is on the hunt for a bloke who’s ambitious, confident and isn’t obsessed with Instagram.

A girly can dream.

Niko, 28 — New South Wales

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Niko is a gym-obsessed builder who often spends hours getting gains after a busy day at work. Although he takes a lot of time on getting shredded, he does make time for cute little dates.

Before ending up in the villa, the resident gym bro has his heart broken by one of his exes who cheated on him. This led to him going on a ‘yuge dating spree. As a result, he could have three dates in one week.

When asked about his strategy for navigating Love Island, Niko said he would pull an Em and “get to know everyone first”. However, he admitted that he has to “have that physical and emotional connection straight away.”

Dylan, 25 — New South Wales

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Dylan is Ireland’s great hunk of spunk. After arriving Down Under last year, he instantly fell in love with the place.

The cutie patootie is hoping to build a life in Australia with an Aussie gal, as he believes they are “so forward and bold”.

When asked about what he was looking for, Dylan replied: “Someone with a great personality who matches my lifestyle. Someone who is very active, values and wants a family, as that is a huge part of my life. Someone grounded, with good morals.”

Zane, 24 — Queensland

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Don’t let his tattoos, muscular build and moustache fool you! Zane (allegedly) has a sweetness about him that gets the gals!

Originally a rugby player, Zane officially hung up the footy boots in 2022 after the game got too demanding. He now works as a plumber in civil construction while studying to be a personal trainer.

When asked about how he got on the show, Zane revealed that it was his sister who signed him up.

“She had a full PowerPoint presentation. I thought I’d go along with it, and here we are,” he revealed.

Indigo, 23 — Queensland

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Besides being your typical gym bro — training a minimum of six times a week — Indigo is also a juggler and a master of the worm. He’s also a part of a ‘yuge family and had one serious relationship before joining the show.

The sales manager is hoping to bag a baddie with kind and similar values.

“Someone into the gym, a healthy person, who doesn’t like to party all the time. Someone who just wants to do life with me and have fun,” he shared.

Kane, 23 — South Australia

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Another year, another sporty boy is about to enter the villa.

Love Island’s resident AFL boy Kane is a smiley bloke who’s keen to make connections in the villa. Although he’s extremely likable and has tried dating, the carpenter has yet to have a legit girlfriend.

When asked what he was looking forward to the most when jumping in the villa, Kane said: “Obviously the girls. I’m the kind of person who also loves the sun and summer, so being in Spain at this time of year will be nice. Also, I’m looking forward to making friends with the boys. It’ll be nice to do an overseas trip.”

Honestly, that last part of his answer was relatable AF. Hopefully, he gets the Spanish vacation of his dreams while finding the love of his life.

Who are the bombshells on Love Island Australia 2024?

Week One: Sophie, 23 — Queensland

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Although she missed out on a spot on Love Island Australia last year, it seems like it was meant to be for her to be a bomb in 2024 because *SPOILER ALERT* she may have an “existing relationship” with someone in the villa…

To give ya a bit of a hint, Sophie has a type — athletes — and has a lot of NRL players as friends.

Sophie will be dropping in on Week One of Love Island Australia.

When asked about what kind of bloke she usually goes for, Sophie admitted that she goes for guys “with tatts, muscles, and someone who is tall. I like good teeth, and a nice smile. I usually go for brunettes.”

Hmmm NRL player, tall and a nice smile… I could name one on this cast list.

Week One: Taylor, 28 — Victoria

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

If you think Taylor looks familiar, you might remember him from The Summit.

Before kicking off his reality TV career, the 28-year-old stevedore was a rugby league player who left the Gold Coast to join the Melbourne Storm’s development squad. However, the bloke lost his love for the sport and ended up moving onto other things.

Following his time on The Summit, his three-year relationship ended allowing him to find love in the villa.

The former rugby player is hoping to find “loyalty, respect, love and affection” in his next partner.

Will it be on Love Island Australia? Who knows!

Who are the Love Island Australia Gods?

ICYMI, this season of Love Island Australia will feature a bunch of twists including Hotel Amor and the Love Island Gods. Showrunner and icon Sophie Monk spilled that basically these “gods” will have free reign over the villa and will wreak complete havoc over the 2024 cast.

“I don’t want to give too much away, but they just came in and kind of ruled the Love Island villa for a while,” Monk told PEDESTRIAN.TV

So who are these gods the islanders should fear?

Sydney, 24 — USA

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Previously appearing on Love Island US 2022, this firecracker is ready to turn heads and find love after getting cheated on by her reality TV ex Isiah who she met on the show.

Sydney is hoping to find an Aussie man with “blunt humour” who is both “honest and hot”.

Honestly, with a name like Sydney, it seems like she’s the perfect fit for Love Island Australia.

Steph, 25 — France

(Image source: Nine / Love Island Australia)

Steph is very familiar with the show. You see, this great hunk of international spunk originally appeared on the 2023 French version of Love Island before appearing on Love Island Games in Fiji, where he met Aussie islander Jessica.

Unfortunately, the pair didn’t make it beyond the show. However, the model is ready to give another Aussie woman a shot.

When asked about what he liked about the Aussie girlies, one word stood out: beautiful.

“The ones I have met are so beautiful. I think the most beautiful girls in the world. They have beautiful skin, beautiful eyes, beautiful faces,” he swooned.
