Love Island has announced its first explosive twist days before the summer launch.
Fans of the ITV2 competition will have the option to pick this year's couples during the opening episode.
As this year's contestants are being named, the public will get the full power to choose this year's couples.
Voting opens on Thursday morning at 8 am and fans can vote for free via the Love Island.
Host Maya Jama appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday to discuss the dating show as well as the new stars.
"A very big surprise, the public has all the power," she told GMB presenters Ed Balls and Charlotte Hawkins.
"For the first episode, you guys are going to decide who couples up. You vote and we listen."
In most seasons, the contestants get to choose who they want to couple up with.
The names of the contestants have slowly rolled out throughout Monday morning and it looks like it could be another dramatic season.
Following the success of last summer's series, which was brought to life thanks to Ekin-Su and Davide, fans are excited to see what's next.
Beautician Ruchee Gurung was the first Islander to be announced.
Asked why she wants to join Love Island, she said: "I’m single and looking for love, and it’s the perfect opportunity for me to find someone. I’m a relationship kind of girl, but so far it’s not worked out for me.
"So I’m looking forward to hopefully finding the right person in the Villa."
However, she definitely doesn't want anyone who has no ambition, as it gives her the ick.
Asked what she doesn't like, she admitted: "Guys with no ambition. I also get the ick if I see a guy wearing white jeans and red trainers. Another one is super skinny jeans when they look like leggings.
"Fashion is such an important thing for me. If I go on a date and the guy isn’t wearing something I like, I’m going home."
The second star announced was semi-professional footballer Tyrique.
