Love Island is back just three months after the winter series ended. The 2023 summer series kicks off at 9pm on Monday, June 5 on ITV2 and ITVX. While the winter series took place in South Africa, the new season is returning to Mallorca with presenter Maya Jama at the helm and 10 new contestants hoping to be lucky in love.
A first look at the launch episode airing tonight shows the Islanders entering the villa but there's a major twist as for the first time ever both boys and girls will enter the villa. Traditionally the girls enter the villa while the boys are introduced later.
In scenes set to air tonight, Ruchee and Jess are the first Islanders to arrive in style at the sprawling Spanish villa. As the two girls get to know each other they are greeted by a surprise arrival from the next Islander.
