Eagle-eyed viewers were left floored after spotting one of this year's Love Island contestants in the latest episode of EastEnders. Fans of both the soap and the popular ITV2 dating show were left doing a double-take after spotting Olivia Hawkins, who is currently in the South African villa, during the show that aired on the BBC on Wednesday, January 18.
Olivia, who is an actress and ring girl, appeared in Peggy's bar during a scene where Zack Hudson walked into the bar and spoke to Sam Mitchell. Olivia, who was wearing her signature high ponytail, was seen looking over her shoulder as the pair chatted.
It's not the first time Olivia has appeared in EastEnders. Speaking to The Sun on whether she'd like to appear in the soap, Olivia said: "Well funnily enough I actually did doubling for Whitney [Dean] in one of the New Year’s episodes. So that would be a very full circle moment, to go on and be one of the characters even if it was just a drop in."
