With its unexpected twists and turns, the fifth season of Love Is Blind has been a complete rollercoaster taking participants and viewers through a bumpy journey.
From Lydia and Uche’s hidden past relationship and Izzy and Stacy’s conflict with Johnie to JP and Taylor’s cringeworthy interactions, the latest series was full of drama.
However, it was also the least successful one as far as everlasting love is concerned.
The fifth instalment’s big finale revealed who was willing to spend the rest of their lives together, proving that love is, indeed, blind, and who was left unconvinced and left the altered without a wedding ring.
Now, the cast is back together for a reunion, in which they will hash it all out and speak their truths.

How to watch the Love Is Blind Season 5 Reunion
The reality TVdating series’ reunion was released on Netflix on Monday, October 16.
So, anyone with a Netflix subscription can now log on to stream the highly anticipated episode.
What does the reunion reveal?
If you haven’t watched the reunion yet, you might want to skip this part, as there are spoilers ahead.
The final episode revealed that the only couple willing to marry one another at the end of the experiment was Milton and Lydia.
To the joy of many, the reunion confirms that the lovebirds were still together and had been married for over a year at the point of filming the episode.
The episode gives an insight into what their married life has been like, including their second wedding celebration in Puerto Rico and how close Lydia and Milton’s mum have gotten since the show was filmed.
Izzy and Stacy, who had decided to break up after Stacy didn’t want to go ahead with the marriage, shared that they were no longer together.
While the two met up a couple of times afterwards and even shared a kiss after the show ended, Izzy says that the two are like “bros” now.
As for Chris and Johnie, who had gotten together after the pod experience concluded, the two are no longer an item. They revealed that Chris cheated on Johnie and ghosted her shortly after the episode in which the cast came together for a barbecue was filmed.
Uche was a no-show at the reunion, but Aaliyah confessed that the two dated for a while beyond the show.
She shared that Uche was “mean” and not who she got to know in the pods throughout their dating experience.
She also revealed that she eventually ended their courtship after learning about his comments to his friends suggesting he didn’t find Aaliyah attractive.
JP, the man who refused to say more than two words to his fiancee after they left the pod, didn’t have much to say at the reunion.
While he did apologise for his comments regarding Taylor’s makeup being unattractive to him, he also reiterated that he found her unattractive when they first saw one another at the big reveal.
Will there be another season of Love is Blind?
Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed that there will be a sixth season of Love Is Blind.
However, given the show’s undeniable popularity, it is more than likely to be renewed for another season.
March 2022 saw the streaming giant renew the show for seasons 4 and 5, so it could also take the opportunity to renew the show for multiple seasons at once.
