Love Actually is one of the nation's favourite Christmas films, with millions of people watching the movie each year.
The iconic Christmas treat features a number of couples who come together, overcome obstacles, and navigate the festive season. But there were more characters in the original scenes.
The romcom originally included a relationship between the headmistress, Anne Reid, of the school that hosts the final Christmas concert, and her partner Geraldine, Frances de la Tour.

Geraldine has terminal cancer, and a scene toward the end of the film shows Emma Thompson's character Karen take to the stage at the school concert. Karen thanks the headmistress for coming to the show, especially given she's just experienced such a loss.
In DVD bonus footage, director Richard Curtis admits he was “really sorry” to lose this part of the film. The idea was “you just casually meet this very stern headmistress, but later on in the film we suddenly fell in with her and you realise that, no matter how unlikely it seems, any character you come across in life has their own complicated tale of love.”
Sharing the scenes that never made it to the screen, TikTok user said: "This deleted Love Actually storyline about a lesbian couple is SO good (and sad)". Love Actually fans were quick to respond in the comments section.
Polly said: "I'm sorry, they cut out FRANCES DE LA TOUR?! Jail." Terry said: "They should have a version with all of the deleted scenes.", while Didgel65 said: "I wish they had included it, it looks like it would have been one of the better storylines.".
