Louth GAA have announced the sudden passing of former player Colin Quinn.
Quinn was a decorated player for the county and represented his club Stabannon Parnells and won a Louth Senior Football Championship back in 1999 aged just 17.
Quinn would go on to represent his club as captain and was also awarded Louth Minor of the year in 2000 and would go on to represent his county.
And breaking the news, Louth GAA added: "We send our heartfelt condolences to Colin's partner, Makayla, mother, Rosaleen, his brothers, Ian and Martin and sister Orla and also to Colin's extended family and friends and all at Stabannon Parnells
"Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam"
And tributes came pouring in for the popular footballer with one social media user writing: "Shocking news, hard to believe. RIP Colin."
Whole another added: "Rip condolences to all"
