Louise Thompson's fiancé Ryan Libbey breaks silence after star is rushed to hospital

Louise Thompson 's fiancé Ryan Libbey has spoken out shortly after the star was rushed to hospital amid her PTSD battle.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 32, has documented her battle with post-natal depression since the birth of their son, Leo-Hunter, in November last year.

Earlier this week, it was revealed Louise was recovering after returning back to hospital - with her team sharing the news on Instagram.

Now, Ryan has also taken to social media to share an update with fans following the news.

The personal trainer, 31, firstly posted a brief statement as he thanked his followers for their support.

"Thank you to the people who have messaged me today sending well wishes to myself and Louise," he wrote.

"I'll update when I can. Thank you again."

Shortly after releasing the message, Ryan shared a sweet photo of the couple's baby son sporting a bright blue knitted jumper.

Alongside the snap, the former MIC star penned: "We're keeping busy til mummy comes home from hospital."

He later treated himself to a bath to "lift his spirits", telling fans: "Baby is down so I'm taking 10 to soak in the tub.

"Weirdly home alone is on TV so I'm watching that. Anything to lift the spirits I guess."

It comes after Louise - who experienced a traumatic birth just seven months ago - was taken back into hospital.

In a statement, her team penned: "Hey everyone, Team Pocket here. Louise is unfortunately back in hospital for a little while and is therefore taking a break from social media.

"Like all of you I am sure, we wish her a speedy recovery and are sending her all the love.

"Louise has asked us all to keep you updated on some exciting bits going on at Pocket at the moment in the meantime whilst she is away."

Meanwhile, Louise recently told her followers how Ryan was also suffering from PSTD following their son's birth.

The new mum has been left with a string of health issues since giving, which has understandably taken a toll on Ryan.

Speaking about her partner on Instagram, Louise shared: "He was strong, strong, strong and then BAM he had an almighty crash.

"Not for me to comment on but he deffo has some sort of pnd (paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea) ptsd."

PND is a condition that triggers sudden shortness of breath during sleep.

Louise continued: "He' so guilty so probably feels guilty he couldn't protect me.

"My head dealt with living through and awful experience. He had to witness everything with clear vision.

"He still lies awake to check on me, he's worried I won't wake up."
