Reality TV star Louise Thompson has said she is “still in shock” after a visit to 10 Downing Street to hand over a petition to appoint a maternity commissioner and improve care for mothers and babies.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 36, nearly died after undergoing an emergency Caesarean section while giving birth to her son Leo in November 2021, and has subsequently suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
