Louise Redknapp has responded to fans expressing concern over the latest treat she has given her new puppy.
The mum-of-two's followers quickly commented underneath the star's latest Instagram post over the weekend - warning her about a potentially dangerous toy her new pet was chewing on.
The singer, 47, welcomed a bulldog called Banksy Blu into her family home earlier this month, following the sad passing of another canine pal.
Banky Blu's arrival came just a few weeks after the former Strictly Come Dancing star announced that her beloved dog Blubelle - whom she had shared with ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, 48 - had sadly died.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Louise shared an adorable clip of Banksy sprawled across a bed and chowing down on a new toy.
"Banksy Blu having a chew," the former Eternal singer captioned the update to her 740,000 followers.
While some of the star's fans found the clip cute, many rushed to the comment section to inform the dog owner about the potential hazard the you can be for Banksy Blu's breed.
"Take that off him very dangerous," one worried follower bluntly told Louise, with another adding: "I hope they aren’t rawhide… can be very dangerous to dogs."
A third went into more detail, advising the star: "Be super careful with rawhide babe especially with bull breeds, they can be so dangerous, I learnt that the hard way with my Frenchie, we had a scary chocking experience with him, I had no idea that raw hide was not a good thing to give dogs, done some research after and have never given him one again!"
Louise quickly reassured her followers she had read their concerned messages, replying: "Hi guys thanks for all the advice on rawhide we took it off him pretty quick before it got soft and could get caught in his throat.
"Thanks for all the concern."
Louise introduced Banksy Blu to her fans earlier this month, after her beloved four-legged friend Blu sadly passed away in February.
The West End star shared footage of the new arrival on Instagram last week, with her opening up about the impact of losing Blubelle on the family's other dog, Rudi.
She said: "We were so devastated losing our girl Blubelle a few weeks ago, and we really noticed a change in Rudi's behaviour so we decided a little brother might be what he needs."
The singer added: "Say hello to Banksy Blu… he's definitely settled in." She further commented that her new four-legged companion is "a beaut."
Blubelle was one of the two dogs that Louise and former footballer Jamie shared with their sons Charley Redknapp, 17, and Beau Redknapp, 13.
Football pundit Jamie is understood to have been on holiday with his wife Frida Andersson, 38, and their now three-month-old son Raphael Redknapp when Blubelle passed away.
He however shared a photo of the dog walking through a park and paid tribute in a caption alongside it, writing: "Goodbye beautiful girl we will miss you so much."
