Louise Redknapp has praised Robert Rinder as an "inspiration" after he shared an update from the Ukrainian border.
The 43-year-old travelled to the war-torn country to help rescue his Strictly Come Dancing partner Oksana Platero's family in the wake of the Russian invasion. The criminal barrister shared emotional snaps as he was united with Oksana's family after they safely crossed the border into Poland.
He said: "Auntie Lidya and Grandma Zoya. We managed to reach them this morning with a wheelchair & some medical supplies.

"Despite having nearly nothing.. they are ‘grateful for everything’"
Robert also shared a heartwarming snap with his 77.1k Instagram followers as he played with Oksana's family dog.
He captioned the post: "Oksana’s family have Tesla their puppy with them… ‘He brings us so much love that we forget the bad things’"
Louise Redknapp took to the comments to praise the Good Morning Britain anchor after he shared the update.
She said: "You're an amazing human and will always inspire me. I'm so proud to be your friend x."
Oksana also left a series of heart emojis in the comments - and revealed her appreciation for Robert in a separate post shared on her Instagram channel.
She said: "I can’t say thank you enough to my wonderful SCD partner @robrinder and his team for being there for my family and so many others.
"You are a truly remarkable man and my love for you is limitless. The world needs more people like you."
