Louise Redknapp is reportedly dating again with the help of her friends and family after the breakdown of her marriage to former footballer Jamie Redknapp.
The 47-year-old singer was married to Jamie, 49, for almost 20 years but their relationship broke down in 2017. Jamie has since moved on with Swedish model Frida Andersson.
But now it seems Louise is getting back in the saddle and has enjoyed a few dates which were arranged by her pals.
"Louise has opened herself up to the prospect of finding a new man and has been enjoying some set-ups through friends," a source close to the star told Closer magazine.
They added: "She feels better than ever but she knows that she doesn't need a man to be happy."
The Mirror has contacted Louise's representatives for comment.
In 2020, Jamie and Frida went public with their romance and announced they were expecting a child together just 10 months later. They wed shortly before the arrival of their son Raphael, now eight months old.
Louise was said to be shocked by Jamie's whirlwind romance.
"She’s said that, even though Jamie told her it was on the cards, she was blindsided by it happening so soon.
"She doesn’t understand what the rush was or what they are trying to prove by having a surprise wedding," a source told Heat magazine at the time.
Louise's sons — Charlie, 18, and Beau, 13 — were then said to be encouraging their mum to start dating again and it seems like Louise has finally given in.
Speaking to closer, the source said: "Louise's boys have made no secret of their desire to see her settle down — even helping her vet potential bachelors and giving her fashion advice when she's getting ready for a date!"
They added that it was heart-warming to see how much her sons care for her and said Louise is "just having fun" right now.
