Louise McSharry has called out Ryan Tubridy over his handling of a particular response from Jamie Lee O'Donnell when he asked her about her age.
The Derry woman, who plays Michelle on the hit Channel 4 comedy, appeared on The Late Late Show on Friday, April 15 and caused a stir with viewers when she told Ryan his question about her age was "misogynistic".
"Do you know what it is, it's always quite misogynistic even it's unintentionally misogynistic because men don't get the same scrutiny in their career," she told the host.

Speaking with guest Cassie Delaney on her podcast Catch Up With Louise McSharry, the former RTE 2FM presenter gave her two cents on the matter, revealing that she initially didn't have an issue with the question Ryan asked.
She explained to her listeners: "I don’t have a major issue with the question. I understand where she’s coming from. Her point is men don’t have to talk about their age. Men aren’t judged so much for their age in her industry and age is a big thing.
"I think that’s a fair point, that it is a slightly misogynistic question."
She went on to say that she understood Ryan might have been asking the question in relation to the teenage character Jamie Lee plays, but criticised his handling of the actress' reaction.
She continued: "Everyone knows they’re not teenagers.
"I think the real problem is that he would not let her speak then. He got flustered, he got defensive. He physically put his hand out in a kind of stop motion and then wouldn’t let her finish a sentence."
Her guest Cassie added: "She was about to explain something but he got the hand and was like 'No, I'm done with that question'."
