Louis Rees-Zammit's wonder try matched by England star who's actually faster

Louis Rees-Zammit wowed the internet once again with another rip-roaring try in the Gallagher Premiership, but the Welshman has tough competition in Adam Radwan.

Penarth boy Rees-Zammit executed a quite remarkable length-of-the-field try for Gloucester against Wasps on the weekend, as the Cherry and Whites worked hard to fight back from 21-0 down, eventually winning the game 27-21.

However, Newcastle Falcons gas man Adam Radwan also had the afterburners pumping at the weekend, tearing down the wing against Harlequins, leaving a number of players clutching at thin air.

Rees-Zammit's Gloucester try was sensational, and the effort itself edges Radwan's based on the length of field travelled in order to score, but it's quite something to think that Radwan is actually quicker, according to their recorded times.

A few weeks ago we listed the fastest players in rugby , following the shock return of NFL star and former Wasps man Christian Wade to rugby union.

Radwan has second place now that Wade is back in the fold, and edges Rees-Zammit on the speed front.

During England training at Twickenham last year, Radwan clocked up a jaw-dropping 10.85 metres per second speed.

Wow.

Rees-Zammit isn't far off the mark however, notching up 10.73 metres per second against Fiji last year.

It would be some spectacle to see a footrace between Radwan and Rees-Zammit, that's for sure.
