There was a buzz of excitement in the National Lottery’s winners room on Wednesday afternoon as a Dublin player collected a whopping €410,608.
The ecstatic player, who wishes to keep their win private, spoke of the moment they realised they won the life-changing prize. They said: "I was just in complete and utter shock. I actually hid the ticket somewhere in the house for a couple of days until I could calm down and get my head around it.
"I must have checked it a hundred times just to be sure I wasn’t dreaming." The Dublin player successfully matched 5 numbers and the bonus to scoop €410,608 in the Lotto draw on Wednesday 20 July.
