A Lotto punter is €250,000 richer tonight after scooping the Plus 2 top prize.
The player matched six numbers and a bonus to secure the quarter of a million jackpot.
The winning ticket was sold in Dublin, the National Lottery said.
The winning Plus 2 numbers were: 1, 2, 8, 18, 31, 36 and the Bonus was 44.
Meanwhile, there were no winners of the main €5,571,522 Lotto jackpot or the Plus 1 top prize of €1,000,000.
There were also 101 winners of the Raffle Prize each receiving €500. The winning number was 8185.
