The biggest ever EuroMillions winner could be crowned on Tuesday. The jackpot is expected to hit a record £186million, after no one scooped the big prize in Friday (July 1) night's draw.
The rollover could see Gloucester couple Joe and Jess Thwaite deposed as the biggest Euromillions winners ever after just two months. The couple won £184million in the May 10 draw.
“Tuesday will be huge, with a stunning estimated EuroMillions jackpot of £186 million up for grabs,” senior winners’ adviser Andy Carter said. “One lucky winner could help a lot of causes close to their heart. Players should get their tickets early to be in with a chance of winning in this amazing draw.”
If the jackpot is claimed by a single player, they would be able to buy 512 Rolls-Royce Phantoms, four Gulfstream G600 private jets or two six-deck superyachts.
Although no one won the top prize this week, four people took home £219,000 while a further eight bagged £11,000. The main EuroMillions numbers were 06, 18, 24, 34, 46, while the lucky star numbers were 03 and 12.
There have been a series of major EuroMillions wins in recent months, with £109 million claimed in February and the Thwaites' record £184 million in May.
Joe, 49, and Jess, 44, were said to be planning a round-the-world holiday with their two primary school age children as their first big spend.
The Euromillions record was previously held by an anonymous ticket-holder who banked £170 million in October 2019.
