The search is on for a second mystery lottery winner in the Cardiff and Vale area. The National Lottery hunting for the winner who could be celebrating in style after having won £10K a month for one year on the ‘Set For Life’ draw-based game.
The owner of the winning ticket, bought in Cardiff, matched the five main numbers in the Set For Life draw on Monday, April 18 2022 (Easter Monday). The winning Set For Life numbers on that date were 7, 9, 12, 31, 43 and the Life Ball was 7 . The lucky ticket-holder has until October 15, 2022 to claim their prize.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery said: "We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a massive difference to somebody’s life.. We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old Set For Life tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

"We’re encouraging everyone to check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk. Players can also buy and check tickets in retail. Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."
It is the second day in a row that Lottery bosses have appealed for a winner in south Wales to come forward.
On Tuesday, they revealed that a £1million ticket bought in the Vale of Glamorgan had been drawn on April 16, 2022, but the winner had not come forward.
The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 2, 4, 6, 35, 55, 58 and the Bonus Ball was 44. The lucky ticket-holder has until October 13, 2022, to claim their prize.
If no-one comes forward with the winning tickets before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
