The Kaito Files DLC for Lost Judgment is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
The DLC is a four-chapter storyline expansion that takes place after Lost Judgment’s main campaign, though fans will step into Kaito’s shoes this time. Sidekicks rarely step into the protagonist role, but much like the mainline Yakuza series, Lost Judgment doesn’t do things by the book. Kaito even has a “Primal Focus” detective technique that sets him apart from other sleuths.

Sega did provide GLHF with some plot details regarding The Kaito Files.
“Following the events of Lost Judgment, Kaito picks up a lucrative case while Yagami is out of town that unexpectedly has him searching for his old flame, Mikiko. Along the way, Kaito encounters Jun, a teenager claiming to be their son, and teams up to uncover the truth behind Mikiko’s disappearance,” the plot synopsis reads. “Now Kaito stands at the crossroads of past and present while up against a syndicate tied to Kamurocho’s criminal underbelly.”
The Kaito Files costs $29.99 on all platforms. However, if you own the Lost Judgment Ultimate Edition + Season Pass, then the DLC will come at no additional charge.
