Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is expected to arrive in the city shortly as multiple wildfires continue to burn in the county. The mayor's deputy chief of staff, Celine Cordero, confirmed during a news conference on Wednesday that Mayor Bass will be on the ground soon.
Earlier this week, Mayor Bass was slated to attend the inauguration of John Dramani Mahama as Ghana's president, according to sources.
