Those travelling on the M74 this morning could face delays as police attend to reports of a 'lorry fire'.
A lorry is believed to have gone up in flames around 8.15am just before Junction 8 of the busy motorway.
Police Scotland are en-route to the incident and lane closures are likely to be put in place.

A traffic Scotland spokesperson tweeted: "Reports of a lorry fire on the #M74 prior to J8. Police are currently en-route.
"Looks like Lane One is going to be Closed. Traffic is coping at this time but please #takecare."
