Ranvir Singh shocked viewers as she fired a 'jealous' insult in the direction of Good Morning Britain star Laura Tobin on Friday's Lorraine, branding her 'a cow,' after seeing a photo of the weather host at the National Television Awards.
After hosting her ITV breakfast show from Monday to Thursday, Lorraine Kelly was missing in action on Friday, leaving occasional guest presenter to do the honours. And it was Thursday's NTAs that dominated proceedings, after some of British TV's biggest names gathered in London for the annual event just over 12 hours earlier.
As well as discussing the NTA winners, which included Ant and Dec for Best Presenter, This Morning for Best Daytime and a double win for Emmerdale, there was plenty of talk about the evening's red carpet looks, with the likes of Susanna Reid, Rochelle Humes and Alison Hammond, all having their outfits critiqued by Ranvir, fashion expert Mark Hayes and TV correspondent Rhia Hebden.

The trio were talking about how there were plenty of sparkly gowns there were on the NTAs red carpet when a shot of Laura in a dazzling red dress appeared on screen as it was revealed that she'd 'recycled' an outfit for a few years ago.
Mark remarked: "So yeah, this is what she wore three years ago and why wouldn't you re-use it?" In response, Ranvir retorted: "Well she hasn't put a pound on, the cow!" Doing some hasty backtracking, the ex Strictly contestant added: "You wouldn't get me in something from three years ago, sadly. I love Laura...sometimes" as Mark and Rhia laughed beside her, with Mark joking: "Only sometimes? Not when she's wearing a red sequined dress!"
Like Mark and Rhia, some viewers saw the funny side, with one taking to Twitter to post: " loving you keeping it real on Loraine this morning ….. “she hasn’t put a pound on, the cow”. Definitely something I’d say!! We need more Ranvir on our screens."
