Lorraine pressed Inbetweeners actor Blake Harrison on whether the show is really "done" on today's programme. And fans of the show may be disappointed with his answer.
The actor appeared on Tuesday's show to speak about the return of sitcom Kate & Koji, which stars Brenda Blethyn and returns on Wednesday, March 16. But naturally, the conversation turned to The Inbetweeners.
"For you, Inbetweeners really opened a lot of doors didn’t it?" Lorraine said. "And people have such affection for that show and the movies. It must have been lovely to be part of something like that but I feel as though you don’t need to do any more - it’s done do you feel that? Or there’s more stories to be told?"
Blake explained: "I feel like we’ve been done since 2014 when we did the last film but people just like it so they want us to do more but I don’t see that ever happening but you never know."
Speaking about the new series of Kate & Koji, he told Lorraine his co-star Brenda Blethyn is a "good laugh" to work with.
"Brenda is amazing," he said. "She can do comedy, drama, she can flip things very very quickly within a scene and she's a good laugh as well. Brenda has got a great sense of humour and she's really good fun."
Taking to Twitter, one viewer could not believe how much the actor had changed. "OMG Neil of Inbetweeners looks so different now," they said. While a second added: "Blake looks in pain listening to her wittering, but needs must."
