Lorraine Kelly urges Prince Harry to 'bin' tell-all book in order to heal royal 'feud'

Lorraine Kelly has urged Prince Harry to "bin" his tell-all book in a bid to heal the 'rift' between him and Prince William.

The Duke of Sussex is working on a tell-all book which was thought to be on plan to be released later this year. The book is expected to be 'explosive', according to sources, with it set to document Harry losing his mother, marrying his wife and leaving as a royal.

Lorraine gave her verdict on the book today on her ITV show, as she urged Harry to 'bin' it in favour of making up with his brother Prince William. The pair are said to be involved in a huge royal rift, with many hoping the passing of their grandmother would bring them together and helped to repair and build any bridges since Harry left as a senior royal.

During a chat with The Mirror's royal editor Russell Myers on the show today, Lorraine shared: "They've been brought back into the fold, which is good. It's what you want. I think bin the book or just make it a tribute."

Russell then admitted: "Well is that possible though because they've signed a big money deal."

"You can always give the money back," Lorraine suggested, "I don't know how it works, but it's strange."

It comes after it was revealed that Prince Harry's memoir could be amended with further chapters to bring it up to date if publication is put on hold. It was due to go to press later this year but it is expected that it will be postponed following the Queen's death.

It was suggested that the book will tell the Prince's story of losing his mother Princess Diana, marrying wife Meghan Markle and quitting life as a Royal - but it is thought it may be added to following Her Majesty's passing.

Harry has mainly kept quiet about his book, but at the time it was announced, he confirmed he would be writing it as "the man he's become" rather than as the royal he was born as.

"I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become," he said of the upcoming book.

A royal expert has also claimed Prince William will not talk to Prince Harry until after he has published his explosive 'tell-all' book.

Royal biographer Angela Nevin told The Sun: "I think it's likely that Catherine and William will try to avoid any contact with Harry and Meghan until they know the contents of Harry’s memoirs and their Netflix documentary. They have lost their chance of being trusted as the chance is they will use any conversation. It’s their own fault for vastly exaggerating and being rude."
