Lorraine Kelly shares totally ‘80s throwback picture and fans are all saying the same thing

Lorraine Kelly currently delights viewers with her ITV1 morning show Lorraine where she chats showbiz, current affairs, health and celebrity interviews. However, Lorraine started her career in the news as a Scotland correspondent for TV-am and has shared a very retro throwback picture from that first job.

TV-am was the first UK breakfast show of its kind and was launched four decades ago by the BBC, this year, Lorraine worked alongside Mike Morris, who has since passed away and in the throwback picture called the time "Golden Days". Sharing a picture from 1983 Lorraine is dressed in a red tartan top and red skirt and she has not aged a day since the picture - some might even say she looks younger now.

Lorraine captioned the post: "FORTY years ago saw the launch of TVam. I started as Scottish correspondence in 1984 - and lucky enough to present the show from 1989 with Mike Morris - a kind, lovely fella and a total pro. Sadly missed. Golden Days, #tvam #friends #joy #breakfast #goodmorning".

In June 2022 Lorraine shared an update on her weight loss journey with WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers. Posting on Instagram she told her 494k followers: "GOAL REACHED! Lost one and a half stone! Feel healthier and happier Thank you @ww.uk and @wwsuzystirfry." Speaking to OK! Magazine about her journey, Lorraine explained: "It’s not about cutting things out completely, but with the Weight Watcher points you get each day, it just makes you more aware of what you’re eating."
